Sizzling Summer Fun with Miracle Theatre
Thu 4 Jul 2019
The summer holidays are upon us, which means one thing - Miracle Theatre's eagerly anticipated return to Dorset with their annual trio of fun family open-air performances!
This year is extra special as Miracle are celebrating their 40th birthday! The company have been touring original, inventive, comic theatre across Cornwall and the UK since 1979 and Artsreach has been delighted to work with Miracle for many years to bring their performances to deepest rural Dorset. Recent Miracle open-air productions you may have seen in the county include Waiting for Godot (2013) and The Third Policeman (2017).
To mark their 40th anniversary, this year Miracle present a special rollicking musical adventure titled A Perfect World. Written by Bill Scott and with original live music by Tom Adams, this brand new, action-packed and comical play follows a feisty young woman named Ruth Hopkiss as she ventures into a Boy's Own world of undiscovered jungles, treasure maps, campfires and penknives.
Lively, inventive and popular, Miracle Theatre's work gives lie to the idea that theatre is a Metropolitan activity
