We’re recruiting for a new MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER.

Artsreach is seeking a highly motivated, creative and strategically minded individual who shares our passion for widening access to the arts, and who has the experience and skills to lead the development and delivery of all marketing and communications activities.

You'll lead all marketing activity and raise the profile of our work across rural Dorset, crafting compelling stories, producing high‑quality digital and print content, managing press and social media, and developing strategies that strengthen audience engagement.

By gathering data, case studies and evidence of impact, you’ll help clearly communicate our value to audiences, artists, funders and partners.

We’re looking for someone with strong cultural marketing experience, confidence with digital tools, and a commitment to widening access to the arts.

You’ll thrive in a small, fast‑paced team, bringing fresh ideas and a collaborative approach to supporting our volunteer network and rural communities.

Hours: P/T equivalent to 15 hours per week, across 3 days minimum.

Location: primarily our offices at The Little Keep in Dorchester, DT1 1SQ.

Salary: £26,403 – £28,142 pro-rata (Scale 4, SCP 7-11), depending on experience.

Holiday: 28 days per year plus bank holidays, FTE.

Pension: 3% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution (minimum).
