About Your Visit

We want everyone to be able to access and enjoy our rural touring programme and are committed to ensuring that everyone’s needs are met to allow for the best possible experience. However, given that our venues come in a variety of shapes and sizes and that each event is run by a different team of dedicated community volunteers, we recognise that audiences may have questions about certain elements of their visit:

Venue Access

We will do our best to give you honest and accurate access information about our venues to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. If you need detailed directions and additional access information, please visit the venue page for your chosen performance(s), where you will find directions, a link to a map, the full venue address and the access information relevant to the venue. Alternatively, you can phone the local volunteer telephone box office as listed in the programme and online for further information and assistance.

Wheelchair Users

Due to the varying nature of our community spaces, there can occasionally be a limit to the number of wheelchairs that can be accommodated at a performance. For this reason, wheelchair users should contact the local volunteer promoter via telephone to discuss their visit. This will also enable the volunteer team to ensure your visit is as comfortable and safe as possible and avoid disappointment.

Carer Tickets

If an individual requires assistance to access the event they are attending, we will make available one free ticket which will enable a guest with access requirements to bring a personal assistant or companion with them to support them with their access needs. Our volunteer promoters are advised that this is best practice which is now supported by an established legal precedent.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@artsreach.co.uk

Car Parking

Car parking facilities can vary from venue to venue. Please contact the community volunteer directly if you have any concerns.

Family Tickets

Where available, a family ticket for the main programme admits 4 people (maximum 2 adults).

For children’s shows, a family ticket admits 4 people (2 adults and 2 u18s or 1 adult and 3 u18s), and this will be detailed on the TicketSource purchase page.

Please note that children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult when attending Artsreach performances.

Refreshments

Most venues will open their doors around 30mins before the advertised start time, and a bar and/or light refreshments will be available. Whilst some venues now have card readers, others can only accept cash so please do come prepared.

Outdoor Events

Please note that outdoor performances will go ahead come rain or shine, so come prepared! Cancellation will only occur in extreme circumstances where conditions are considered dangerous to performers or audience. We will notify ticket holders immediately should such a situation arise.

Refund Policy

Artsreach tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase, unless the performance is sold out and a waiting list in operation. Refunds will also be offered in the event of the performance being cancelled or rescheduled, or where there is a material change to the programme of event. All ticket holders will be contacted either by telephone or email in this instance.

Please see the TicketSource Customer Purchase Policy for information about refunds for bookings made online.

Artsreach recognises that often our volunteer promoters know their audience, and audiences come to support the volunteer, the venue or our charity. We wish to preserve the friendliness of the Rural Touring model and so if an audience member contacts the community promoter directly about a refund, the promoter may refer to this guidance, but may choose another course of action.
