Rohan GotobedThis event has now finishedCalling all aspiring playwrights, poets, and authors! Join Rohan Gotobed, Artistic Director of Dorsetborn Theatre and lead facilitator of Poole Lighthouse Young Writers, for an afternoon filled with games and exercises inspired by Dorset’s landscape. We’ll warm-up with a ‘fill in the blanks’ game before using images from around Dorset to spark our imaginations, creating new stories and writing a short piece in response. We’ll each share our poems and stories, and Rohan will give hints and tips on how to perform to an audience. There’ll also be time to ask Rohan about working in film and TV.
Suitable for ages 7+
Workshop runs from 2pm - 4pm
The Artz+ team may be able to provide support to enable children who are disabled or have additional needs to take part in this workshop, giving parents the opportunity for respite. If your child would benefit from support, please enquire when booking as above. Buccal trained staff are also available, please specify if you require this. Early application to request Artz+ Staff is recommended and will be dependent on their availability.
