Award-winning international band playing klezmer and traditional music from the Balkans, Turkey and beyond

London-based She’Koyokh have been stars of the UK klezmer scene for over 20 years, described by the Evening Standard as “Britain’s Best klezmer & Balkan music band”.

All seven members of this astonishing ensemble are virtuoso musicians, each absorbing, performing and enjoying the rich folk music traditions of countries from across the world.

Their music is a melting pot of culture and style, from 19th-century Eastern European Jewish wedding music to festive music from the Balkans, Greece, and Turkey.

From performances in the famous concert halls of Europe, including Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, the Gasteig in Munich and London’s Southbank Centre and the Wigmore Hall, to TV appearances and live sessions on BBC Radio 3, She’Koyokh have also performed at festivals such as Glastonburyand WOMAD, and collaborated with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and Aurora Orchestra.

With a sumptuous mix of violin, accordion, clarinet, double bass, guitar and percussion, and vocals from acclaimed Istanbul-born singer Cigdem Aslan, expect a night of exhilarating and invigorating music.
