Icicles and Inglenooks

The winter season whilst often cold can be thawed by heart-lifting music that includes polyphonic, unaccompanied carols from Yorkshire and beyond, and tunes that make you want to dance. Throw into the mix a few irreverent songs about pheasants and other seasonal fair, and you’ve got a show that’ll thaw your icicles and warm your inglenooks.

Performing on fiddles, viola, hammer dulcimer, diatonic accordion, hurdy gurdy and more, expect the unexpected from Fi Fraser, Sarah Matthews and Doug Eunson.

Similar in style to the West Gallery tradition which was popular across Dorset, learn alternative versions of carols including ‘While Shepherds Watched their Flocks’ plus some Narthen originals.
