Gadarene take old English tunes and add their own sprinkling of ideas and modern dance grooves to revitalise them into exciting new energetic music. The band’s mission is to take little known dance tunes of the 18th and 19th centuries and get audiences dancing to them again. These amazing tunes tie together arrangements which draw from a wider range of influences including Pop, Rock and Funk.

Weaving in clog dancing and Dartmoor step dancing, Gadarene is a feast for the ears and eyes featuring Matt Norman (mandolin), Laurel Swift (double bass and clogs), Jon Dyer (flute), Nick Wyke (fiddle) and Si Paul (drums). Don’t miss this exciting band as they tour to Dorset with Artsreach.
