Use air drying clay to make your own lacewing bug and cartoon bee, adding details to give it personality and bring it to life. Use British wildlife and leaves to create detailed wings, and bring along a knife and fork from home to learn how simple household items can create textures. Dress for mess!
With over 20 years experience working with clay, Deborah Clarke founded Creative Clay for All in 2015, at a time when there was a reduction of kilns in community centres and schools - at the same time research was showing crafts like clay were good for peoples wellbeing.
