Creat your very own Colourful Cardboard Chameleon!
Come and join professional artist Darrell Wakelam for a jam-packed and hands-on crafting workshop filled with cutting and sticking, collage, papier-mâché, and painting as you create your own colourful cardboard chameleon to take home!
Having provided creative workshops and staff training for schools and education settings over many years Darrell says “I like to create an atmosphere where children of all ages feel included and important. In this safe and positive environment they are able to be imaginative and take risks.”

Dress for mess and bring a packed lunch (no nuts please, in line with schools policies)
Workshop runs 10:30am-3:00pm
The Artz+ team may be able to provide support to enable children who are disabled or have additional needs to take part in this workshop, giving parents the opportunity for respite. If your child would benefit from support, please email leisureWDWP@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk
Buccal trained staff are also available, please specify if you require this. Early application to request Artz+ support is recommended and will be dependent on their availability.
