A Pocket Opera

Intertwining music from Bizet's Carmen with other Spanish and Spanish-inspired music, including Boccherini, Garcia-Lorca, Granados, Ravel, Delibes and Albeniz, CarmenCo bring to life a story which follows the tale of Carmen, but told from her point of view.

Dare you consult the cards with her? What does she think of the men in her story? Did she foresee her gruesome ending? And importantly, does she like the opera Bizet wrote about her?

Featuring acclaimed flautist and mezzo soprano Emily Andrews, and David Massey and Francisco Correa on guitars, expect an immersive show filled with fantasy, comedy and tragedy, and sublime, evocative music.
