18 September - 1 November 1998Branching Out was a contemporary touring exhibition of contemporary work in willow sculpture, basketry, turned wood, furniture, wood carving and paper. Exhibiting artists were carver Peter Boex, basket makers Molly Rathbone, Joanna Gilmour, Sally McIntosh, Lisa Bech, Lyn Edwards and Hilary Burns, woodworker Guy Lewis, wood turner Robert Parker, furniture maker Guy Martin, paper artist Belinda Barrie, collage artist Amanda Wallwork, sculptor Clare Straiton and carver Louise Baker.
Toured to: Beaminster Museum, Sandford Orcas, Ansty, South Perrott, Frampton, Fontmell Magna and Shillingstone.
Workshops included: basket making, paper making and willow working
