Say "Hello" to our new Team Member
Fri 8 Dec 2017
All at Artsreach are delighted to welcome Becky Varndell to the staff team as the Marketing & Development Officer for the charity. Becky will be based at The Little Keep with the Co-Directors, and will be providing valuable support to all of our volunteer promoters in the lead up to their events, as well as leading on some of the exciting project and fundraising initiatives the charity plans to undertake.
“I am the newest member of the Artsreach team, having joined as the Marketing and Development Officer this winter. Since graduating with an English with Media Arts degree in 2012, I have worked in digital marketing for an online events company and most recently as a tourism officer in Lyme Regis. For the past three years I have acted with Lyme Regis amateur dramatic society and in the summer of 2017 I produced and acted in the Marine Theatre community play ‘Monmouth’, which toured the South West in autumn 2017. I am so excited to get stuck into my new role helping to promote the diverse and rich programme of events on offer this season. Artsreach really enriches rural communities, bringing people of diverse backgrounds and ages together to socialise, learn, engage and connect through the arts. I feel lucky to work for such a valuable organisation made up of passionate and creative people.”

Look out for Becky out and about at Artsreach events in the future; she's keen to hear from our audience members about what they love about rural touring, and just what it means to the communities we visit.
