Murder at the Circus

Don your Deerhunter, grab your notepad and boil your kettle! It’s time to Zoom in to a murder mystery from your own home...

Expect high wires and even higher stakes as you play detective and attempt to unmask a murderer with your fellow audience members, in this Victorian case of dastardly behaviour and deadly death at The Bearded Lady’s Circus of Wonders.

Artsreach has teamed up with Sharp Teeth Theatre once more to bring this unique show, played out on Zoom, to audiences in Dorset. Only you can solve this case as you pit your wits against some of the UK’s most talented performers and improvisers.

Murder at the Circus captures the liveness of being in an audience by asking viewers to interact with their fellow detectives via Zoom.

People from different households can take part together by playing under the same team name on the night, providing the perfect way for members of the community and inter-generational family groups to come together for an evening of sleuth-filled entertainment!

Fancy dress is optional but welcomed, so stock up on snacks and refreshments and prepare to solve this mystery together...

A note about tech: You will need to log on to Zoom for this online experience and will need an internet connection.

Tickets: charged per device, not person: (we recommend max 4 people per device/screen)

Running time: 90mins approx.

Age suitability: 8+ (8-12yr olds should be accompanied by an adult)

Zoom information: you will be sent a Zoom link and password within 24 hours of the performance
