Conjured up from performer James Richardson's memory of the old, horse-drawn 'rag-and-bone' man passing down his childhood street, and from his family's Romany and Traveller history, The Curiouser Man is comically quirky and beguiling storytelling performance that re-imagines traditional folk-stories, with a flair for theatricality and illusion.
At its heart, this show celebrates the art of oral storytelling found in the Travelling community, where news was traditionally passed between places and people.
