However, accessing an evening concert can prove particularly challenging for those living with dementia.
Cake Concerts cater to the needs of those people living with dementia. A trio of BSO musicians perform a selection of works on flute, harp and cello, from popular classical hits to light film music, whilst audiences enjoy tea and a slice of cake.
All are welcome, whether living in the community or care & residential homes. These events have a profound effect on movement and communication amongst audience members, creating a positive shared experience for all who attend. Tickets include tea and cake!
