Dorset Council - Summer in Dorset Activity

If you love the beach and have a real sense of adventure, join Dorset Forest School at Ringstead beach where you will explore the surrounding water’s edge, learn beach craft skills and find out all about the creatures and plants that inhabit our shoreline.

This is an outdoor workshop so please remember sun cream and hats and bring plenty to drink. This workshop cannot go ahead in high winds or if lightning is forecast. In this instance it will be rescheduled. 

There are only 6 places available for children with special educational needs aged 5-12 years old.

Booking is only available to Summer in Dorset families with a valid voucher code. Booking your space in advance is required.

To book a place, please send the workshop date, name of child(ren), age, contact telephone and email address and a brief description of any additional needs your child may have, together with your voucher code to info@artsreach.co.uk

To drop off your child follow the signs to the Beach Cafe at Ringstead Bay.  To drop off your child there will be no charge but if you need to park to stay with your child the fee is £5.

Please let us know of any support your child will require and we can look at organising volunteers. 
Please note that there is a steep track to  a shingle beach - there is no wheelchair access and not suitable for those people with limited mobility.
