Individually Mela's members have a wealth of concert experience, from performances on BBC Radio 3 and 4, to concerto performances in venues such as the Wigmore Hall, Kings Place and the Purcell Rooms.
Mela's Daniel Bovey is originally from Dorset, studying at Gillingham School in North Dorset before moving on to and graduating from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in 2014, with the highest degree result across the year. Daniel continued his studies at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating with Distinction in 2016.
Formed after meeting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Royal Academy of Music, Mela guitar are now on tour following the release of their latest album, ‘Pluck, Strum, Hammer’. Expect precision and intensity from this acclaimed quartet.
